• I have booked my first solo tour, which I’m calling the “Southern Teahouse Tour,” playing shows in Ashland and Mt. Shasta City on November 8 and 9. Check out the EVENTS calendar for more information!
• I am also developing a scheme to fund my next solo album. It’s been 12 years since I released my very first EP! In the meantime, I aim to self-fund the first couple of tracks and then come up with a fundraising campaign to request community support to fund the rest of it! This will be really catalyzing in getting my songs out to the communities that need them, will enhance my opportunities for performance and touring, will allow me to offer something to sell at shows so patrons can sustain my work as well as develop more intimate relationships with the songs. Overall, this is my next bold move and I look forward to sharing SOON how you can support it!

Shireen Amini is a Bend, Oregon-based singer-songwriter who believes in music as medicine. With passionate and playful delivery, Shireen weaves raw personal stories with catchy, unifying messages in her soulful and infectious one-woman show. Imagine Gloria Estefan meets Nahko & Medicine for the People. For seven years, Shireen has fronted the regional touring act ¡Chiringa!, a Bend-based Latin dance rock band, and just recently has returned to her solo singer-songwriter roots, creating music intentionally designed to get the audience involved by offering built-in singing parts and opportunities for percussive play. She considers herself part of a growing movement of musicians closing the gap between performer and audience in order to more powerfully connect people to song in community. Shireen recently released a studio recording of her single “Skeleton in the Closet” and has a full-length album on the way! Find out how to support this project soon…
I perform in a variety of formats that adapt to different settings, contexts, and intentions. My primary passion is in bringing these songs in an intimate and alive way, so that we can experience the full content and expression of each song ~ this is most fulfilled in listening concert settings and spaces that support participation in the form of singing, percussive play, and dancing.
